Project Overview

What this project is about.

PawPops is a Shopify concept store for pet treats and wellness products — built to show how I approach a real product-based storefront from the ground up.

The goal was to avoid a basic template look and build something intentional — from the homepage layout and product messaging, to the badges, visuals, and app setup. Every section was built to help a customer understand or trust the product.

The challenge

Pet wellness is a crowded category. The store had to feel genuinely trustworthy and brand-considered — not another generic template with stock photos. Every design decision had to earn its place.

My Role

What I personally handled.

I was responsible for both the Shopify implementation and the creative assets — design, build, and visual content from start to finish.

Design + Build

Shopify Store Setup

Theme setup, page structure, homepage layout, product-focused sections, product page styling, and overall visual direction of the store.

Creative Assets

Product Photos & Graphics

Product visuals used throughout the store — photos, mockups, banners, badges, and promotional graphics prepared in Canva and Photoshop.

What I Built

The storefront, section by section.

The homepage was designed to guide shoppers through the brand, product benefits, trust points, and clear calls to action — in the order a real customer needs them.

Storefront

Custom Sections

Product-focused homepage sections, feature highlights, benefit blocks, trust-style badges, and clean content sections for a polished shopping experience.

E-commerce

Shopping Flow

Layout planned to help customers understand the product quickly, trust the brand, and move naturally toward viewing or buying.

Visual Design & Product Assets

Warm, friendly, and built
for customer trust.

I created and prepared all the visual assets used throughout the store — product photos, mockups, website banners, badges, and promotional-style graphics.

Using Canva and Photoshop, I edited and styled the visuals to match the warm pet wellness brand direction and make the store feel polished, trustworthy, and ready to sell.

Design direction

Soft, playful, and approachable — without looking messy or overly childish. Rounded details, warm product visuals, clean sections, and trust-building graphics that make the store feel cute, clear, and credible.

Why It Works

Designed for the customer, not just the brand.

Instead of only making the site look nice, I focused on how customers would understand the product, trust the brand, and move toward buying.

What I would test next

Whether adding a short "Why PawPops?" section above the fold reduces bounce rate by helping first-time visitors understand the brand before they see products to buy.
